Privacy Policy

This page explains what information CasiGoCasinoNZ.com collects when you visit, what we do with it, and the rights New Zealand law gives you over it. We've kept the legal language to a minimum. If anything here is unclear, email us and a real person will answer.
Who we are
CasiGoCasinoNZ.com is an independent affiliate and review website written for New Zealand readers. We are not CasiGo Casino, we don't operate any gambling services, and we never handle your casino account, your deposits or your winnings. Our job is to review and explain — everything else happens on the casino's own site. You can read more about how we work on our about page and in our disclaimer.
What we collect
Very little, honestly. There are no user accounts here — nothing to register for, no passwords, no profiles. We also never see payment details of any kind, because no money changes hands on this site. What we do collect falls into two buckets:
- Standard server logs
- Aggregate analytics
Server logs record the sort of technical data every website receives automatically: your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed and the time of your visit. Analytics data is aggregated — we can see that, say, 400 people from Auckland read our review last week, but not who any of them were. We use these numbers to work out which guides are useful and which need fixing.
Cookies
We use two kinds of cookies. Functional cookies remember small things like whether you've dismissed a notice, so the site behaves sensibly between pages. Analytics cookies help us count visits and see which pages people read. Neither kind identifies you personally, and we don't run advertising cookies that follow you around the internet.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings — look under Privacy or Site Data in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. The site will still work with cookies disabled; at worst a preference won't be remembered.
Affiliate links and third parties
Links on this site that point to CasiGo go through our /go/ redirect. That redirect lets the casino know you arrived from us, which is how affiliate sites are paid. Up to the moment you click, your data is covered by this policy. After you land on CasiGo's website, their privacy policy takes over — and once you register there, they will collect far more than we ever do, including identity documents and payment details as part of their KYC checks.
One clear request: read the casino's own privacy policy before you sign up. We link to their site, but we have no control over — and no visibility into — what happens on it. Our registration guide explains what documents CasiGo typically asks for, so nothing catches you off guard.
Data retention
Server logs are rotated and deleted automatically, typically within 90 days. Aggregate analytics are kept longer because they contain no personal information — they're just counts. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your query, then deleted. We don't sell, rent or trade any visitor data, ever. There's simply nothing here worth selling.
The only third parties who process data on our behalf are our hosting provider and analytics tool, both of which handle log data under their own security terms. Neither is permitted to use it for anything beyond running this site.
Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020
New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 gives you the right to ask what personal information an agency holds about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if it's wrong. In our case the honest answer will usually be "almost nothing" — but the right is yours, and we'll respond to any request promptly. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, based in Wellington, which oversees the Act.
Children
This is an 18+ website about real-money gambling. It is not directed at minors, we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it. If gambling content is reaching someone in your household who shouldn't see it, free filtering tools exist for every major browser — and our responsible gambling page lists support services for the whole whānau.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top — no silent edits. This version was last reviewed in July 2026. Questions, access requests or corrections can go to [email protected]; we aim to reply within a few working days. I'd rather over-answer a privacy question than leave you guessing.
